What’s in the Bag of Kenny Perry - Winner of the 2009 FBR Open
The tournament was a nail biter again, as Kenny Perry had to make a 22-foot birdie putt on the 3rd playoff hole to win the 2009 FBR Open.
Kenny Perry and Charles Hoffman both finished at 14-under 270 for the 4 rounds to earn a spot in the playoff, and both bogeyed and parred the first and second hole before Kenny's long putt sealed the victory. Things might've been much different if Kelvin Na, who finished third, sinked his 18-foot birdie putt to enter the playoff.
As it stands, Kenny wins his 13th Tour victory title following his incredible 3-win year and playing in the winner Ryder Cup team in 2008.
