Didn't I tell you that the USA will win the Ryder Cup?
It's not always skill that wins a team event. Energy and synergy is what makes a team strong.
Congratulations to everyone on the USA team with winning the Ryder Cup this year with a score of 16 1/2 vs Europe's 11 1/2. The competition was amazingly exciting with extremely great golf on both sides.

Yes, congratulations to the US team who played really well.
There have been some complaints over the years about a few people in the US galleries being disrespectful to European players and these complaints were repeated this year. But I have to tell you that I’ve been to the Ryder Cup at the Belfry over on this side of the pond and the crowds can be equally partisan !
That’s the only part of the Ryder Cup I’m slightly worried about - it just takes a few nutters going over the top on both sides of the Atlantic to spoil it for everyone . Golf as a gentleman’s game everywhere is above that - so it’s up to real golf fans on both sides to stop the idiots. Anyway, we’ll beat you next time !
