OC Golf Course

Last weekend, my wife made the most beautiful golf shot.  She was 130 yards from the green with a huge bunker in front.  She calmly took out her 4 iron, setup, and swung smoothly.  The ball threw high, hit the green and stopped 20 feet away from the pin.  I was clapping, she was happy and the people we were playing with had their mouth wide open and then said "WOW".

She was really hitting the ball well that day since she finally started to turn n her back swing.  Her distances improved and so did her consistency.  We've played often enough now that she knows how far she hits her clubs and this was important because she could see for herself the difference of turning versus using just her hands.

When she was setting up for that shot, I wasn't expecting her to put it on the green since she usually hits the ball low and there is a bunker right in front that covered most of the green.  But like any good golfer, she aimed at the middle of the green and just let it fly.  The ball flew up in the air with a little bit of backspin, hit the green and trickled about 8 feet on the green, leaving herself 20 feet away from the pin.

I told myself that she is hooked for life and will always remember that shot!
