If you don't know who Lorena is, you probably aren't too much into golf. Lorena Ochoa is the best woman golfer currently and in 2008 alone, her tournament winners were well over $2 million ( $2,763,193.00 to be exact).

With Annika Sorenstam retiring, Lorena is poised to gain even more momentum as she looks to win more tournaments and majors. In 2008, she was in 22 events and finished in the top ten 77% of the time! How's that for domination, Tiger!

The fans of Sergio Garcia can rejoice because he is firmly the second best golfer (according to the world's golf rankings). With Tiger out with an injury, he might be on top soon. Hopefully, 2009 will be the year that Sergio wins his first major. I will be cheering him on because he is the best ball striker in the world!

Time to Head Out for Golf

I'm heading off to play golf today on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. It's always a great feeling to drive to the golf course (only if you aren't late). Here's a few things to make sure that you keep your drive enjoyable.

Leave ahead of time to anticipate traffic and other unplanned situations.
When you get there early, stretch and practice putting
Have a healthy breakfast (or lunch if it's afternoon)
Wear sunscreen
Make sure you have enough balls
Same with your glove (although you don't need one, maximum two if you use one for both hands)
Bring a ball marker
Don't run out of gas (don't laugh, it's happened to me before)

Tiger Woods and GM End Endorsement Deal - RIP

I just heard that Tiger Woods and GM are ending its endorsement deal. This means that this is the end of the clever Buick commercials that others have copied. The official reasons are that Tiger Woods wanted more personal time while GM needed to cut back on spending. It's sad to see this go and especially upsetting to see GM is such financial trouble.

I think overall, this is a terrible move for GM because I never would've even thought about Buick if it wasn't for Tiger Woods. All I can say is ts good luck, because GM will need it in the coming years (if it survives that far).
